Streamlight
American weapon-light maker. SureFire's mid-price competitor.
See tag in graph →**Streamlight** is a Pennsylvania-based lighting manufacturer that competes with SureFire in the weapon-light and handheld tactical lighting market at a meaningfully lower price point.
The **TLR-1 HL**, **TLR-7**, and **TLR-8** are the pistol weapon lights most civilian carry-gun shooters end up buying. The **ProTac** series of handheld lights sits in most EDC pockets at prices that don't require a tax return to justify.
Streamlight's tradeoff against SureFire is roughly: 70% of the durability and warranty experience at 50% of the price. For most civilian applications that math works. For duty or professional use the argument is harder, but the product line is entirely credible.
