Leupold
American riflescope maker. Oregon-built, hunter-first, long-range capable.
See tag in graph →**Leupold & Stevens** is an Oregon-based family-owned riflescope manufacturer founded in 1907. It is the default American hunting scope brand and has been for most of the last fifty years.
The hunting lineup — **VX-Freedom**, **VX-3HD**, **VX-5HD** — is what most American hunters grow up seeing on their father's and grandfather's rifles. The precision lineup — **Mark 4HD**, **Mark 5HD**, **Mark 8** — competes directly with European glass at long range and has been adopted by U.S. military precision programs.
Leupold's lifetime "Full Lifetime Guarantee" is genuine: send it back, they fix it or replace it, no receipt required. That durability promise is one of the reasons their glass holds resale value better than most.
