Holosun

**Holosun** is a Chinese optics manufacturer that has, over the last decade, closed most of the gap to Trijicon and Aimpoint in the red-dot and pistol-optic market at half the price. The **507C**, **507K**, **509T**, and rifle-class **510C** are the models most civilian shooters buy. Battery life, reticle clarity, and durability on all of them are competitive with far more expensive American optics. The **HE** suffix (High Efficiency) variants on newer Holosun models add solar assist and shake-awake, extending battery life past Aimpoint-class longevity. Holosun is not without tradeoffs — long-term warranty support and QC variance are honest concerns — but for most civilian use the dot is a genuinely good deal. The market has noticed.
